Tim burst into the spotlight with a breakout season for the Metrostars during the 2001 season, winning the Goal Keeper of the Year honors in MLS and helping to lead the Metros to the playoffs.

Tim hails from Jersey where he excelled both in basketball and soccer. He appeared for the US during the 1999 FIFA World Youth Championships in Nigeria, the 2000 Olympic Team,and the 1995 U-17 side that competed at the World Cup in Ecudor.

After backing up Tony Meloa and Mike Amman, he got the nod between the pipes for the Metros and made spectacular save after spectacular save to gain national recognition and a move to European giants Manchester United.

Tim received his first cap for the US National Team in March of 2002 when he shutout Honduras with an impressive performance and has played well in spot duty for the US, well enough to earn a spot on the 2006 World Cup side.

Tim's is a face you'll be seeing in Red, White and Blue in the future.
