NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION
music: Shelley Nicole-Dance (Flying Home)

MLS' best supported club is arguably the team sharing space with the NFL's Patriots and now the soccer fans of the 508/617 area code might be looking at a championship team of their own.

If things were looking up with the teams run to the 2001 US Open Cup final, it's looking real good right now, especially with the emergence of scoring sensation Taylor Twellman, who led the league in scoring and the Revs to MLS Cup Final 2002 and 2005.

The Revs have had decent personnel such as Italian GK legend, Walter Zenga who also doubled as a coach, US internationals Joe Max Moore and John Harkes. This team will look to improve on their largely positive play with a much improved team featuring the likes of Twellman and Steve Ralston and Shalrie Joseph.

The Revolution will be televised

Black players have made a positive impact in New England such as Wolde Harris and Andy Williams. Shalrie Joseph has become indispensible to the Revolution's cause and is the team's Brother Emeritus. He is the best defensive midfielder in the league right now.
BOTTOM LINE:
They have the fans. They have players. Now they need a championship.
