HOUSTON DYNAMO
music: Geto Boys-Mind Playin' Tricks

Unable to secure a future for a soccer specific stadium, MLS moved the two time champion San Jose Earthquakes to the Houston.

San Jose captured 2 MLS Cups in 3 seasons but had since lost their coach to the Canadian National Team, their best player, Donovan, to rivals LA and influential captain Jeff Agoos to the Metrostars. The likes of Dewayne DeRosario and Brian Ching were still able take control of the reigns and bring SJ back among MLS' Elite teams capturing the Supporter's Shield in 2005.

Then after a controversy over the original name of the franchise, and chasing instate rivals FC Dallas in their inagural season they were able to deliver a championship to its new fans after a memorable final. A high octane offense that will intergrate Paul Daglish to its lineup in his first full season, Houston Dynamo is off to an incredible start in their new home.

While in San Jose, Jamil Walker came on very well late in his rookie season but was selected in the expansion draft by Chivas USA, now Ricardo Clark a future US International, stakes his claim to doing big things Houston. The team has featured players like Abdul Thompson Conteh and Junior Agogo in the past. Ricardo Clark has become an indispensible part of the midfield.
