CARLOS PAVON

A longstime standout on the Honduran National Team, Carlos Pavon joined the Galaxy during the 2007 season.

Pavon began his career with highly regarded Honuras side Real Espana and led the league in scoring. However he really made his name in the Mexican First Division, primarily with Morelia with whom he won a title and other teams like Cruz Azul, Toluca and Necaxa.

Carlos also spent a few seasons in Europe in both Italy and Spain but eventually returned home with Real Espana.

Internationally, Pavon was a major component of the Honduran National team for several years and was star of the side that just missed qualifing for the 2002 World Cup. His 47 goals has atop the all-time goals scored list for the Bi-Color.

Hasn't quite settled with the Galaxy but is a solid reliable goal scorer who will find his mark.
