A native of New Rochelle, NY Edson Buddle joins his 4th team in three years as he suits up with the LA Galaxy after after a year with with RBNY, 4 seasons with Columbus and a cup of coffee with Toronto FC.

Edson came to Columbus after a successful rookie season with the Long Island Rough Riders, one of the A-League's top sides.

Edson has also appeared on various US National youth teams, scoring goals for the U-18 team and recently joining the U20 camp where he made a 90 minute appearance agains the Full Senior side.

Edson established himself as a bona fide offensive player during his 2nd year in the league using his tremendous physical presence to create openings yet demonstrating the ability to fool defenders with a nice touch on the ball.

An indifferent 2005, soiled by an DUI arrest and whispers of laziness led to a move to back to NY but the change of scenery didn't help his goal scoring.

A very talented forward who needs a break out season.
