CHICAGO FIRE
music: Common- The Corner
(DJ Orion Quest Chillin' on the Corner remix)

Always one of MLS truly stacked teams, the Chicago Fire is now searching for a new identity.

Chicago has boasted several top players such as US National Team stars Chris Armas, Carlos Bocanegra, DaMarcus Beasley and Josh Wolff as well as former stars Hristo Stoichkov and Petr Nowak.

Coach Dave Sarachan will continue to look to Armas to help stabilize the middle and the defense will be bolstered by long time stalwarts, Jim Curtin, CJ Brown and will look towards up and coming stars Chris Rolfe and Justin Mapp. Leading goal scorer Andy Herron was traded to Columbus but Chicago will get an upgrade in enigmatic Mexican star, Cuahatemoc Blanco when he arrives in July.

Chicago has yet to capture another MLS Cup since that magical run in their inagural season and they will look to bring one home to their new digs in Bridgeview.

It's on Fire tonight, and the place is looking steamy!

Zach Thornton was a long time stalwart for the Fire since the beginning. DaMarcus Beasley mades his name in Chicago before going to Europe. Long serving defender CJ Brown rose from the minor leagues of US Soccer to a top notch MLS Defender.
Chicago has 4 titles and is hungry for more. Don't bet against them too often.
