Injury free for the first time in his career, Chris Gbandi finally demonstrated the form that made him a #1 draft pick out of UCONN.

Knee injuries and inconsistent play had plagued his stay in Dallas but he put all of that behind him in 2006 and was a solid performer for FC Dallas earning team honors as Defender of the Year.

The Liberian interntional grew up in Houston Texas where he eaned All-America honors as a senior before a stellar 4 year career at UCONN.

Will be counted on to continue his growth in 2007 as the Hoops reload for a championship run.
