HONDURAS

After appearing in the 1982 World Cup in Spain, Honduras has finally returned into the upper echelon of teams in CONCACAF.

With speed and good technical ability, this Central American side has rapdily become a team no one wants to face, home or away, during World Cup Qualifying.

Players like Samuel Caballero, Jose Luis Pineda Amado Guevara and Carlos Pavon have made Honduras a dangerous team that was one Stern John and a cross bar away from the 2002 World Cup.

Another Central American side with a solid Black population, most of the main scoring threats are Black: David Suazo and Carlos Pavon among others. Cabellero is also Black and has played in Italy.
