After nine years in England with Arsenal and a quick stop in Turin with now relegated Juventus in a big money move, Patrick Vieira takes his act to Milan with Inter.
Patrick Vieira had tumultuous tenure in English football but is, without a doubt, one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.
Targeted by refs for his physical play, he's had to alter his game to avoid being sent off by card-happy officials, while dealing with the taunts of opposing fans over his race and ethnicity.
Yet, it never seems to throw him too far off his game. He is a tremendous passer and his displays with French National team at the 2006 World Cup while give him renewed confidence as he abandons the sinking ship that is Juventus.
One of the most sought after players in the world, Inter Milan will be happy to have him.
