JUAN
AS ROMA

An accomplished defender, Juan moved ot AS Roma in 2007 after establishing himself as a star is on the rise with Bayer Leverkusen.

Juan started appearing regularly for Flamengo in 2000 and was included in Brazil's 2001 Copa America side as well as the Confederations Cup side from 2003. He also gained experience playing the Copa Libertadores but was left out of the World Champions' roster at the last minute. He has since captained Brazil and helped lead them to tthe 2007 Copa America title.

He moved to Germany soon there after and demonstrated why Bayer was so keen on him with his determined marking.

A long career seems to be this young man's destiny, for AS Roma and for Brazil.
