Injuries have prevented this player from demonstrating the form that made him wanted by two countries.

This Accra, Ghana born central defender began his career with Ghanian side Noble Harrics and impressed so much while at his first Europan club, Club Brugges that Belgium wanted him to play for their side in the 1998 World Cup.

He declined and Ghana was glad to count this experienced defender among their ranks in the 2006 World Cup. He was awarded the Belgium's First Division Young Player of the year in '98 helping them win the league title.

PSV signed Eric in a big money move in 1999 but injuries have been constant and he's been loaned on occasion to Eredivise rival Roda.
