DJIBRIL CISSE

After suffering two major injury setbacks, Djibril Cisse looks to jump start his promising career with a loan move to Marseille. After years of lobbying, Djibril Cisse got what he calls his "dream move" to Anfield to play for Liverpool & recovered from a broken leg to help Liverpool capture the 2005 Champions League but never gained full confidence in Rafael Benitez' eyes. The French international tore up the youth ranks and showed he got get it done as a professional during the 2001-02 season when he led the Ligue 1 in goals and had a host of top flight European teamssalivating at the thought of securing his services. He scored another 23 in his last season with Auxerre proving it was not a fluke and leading to his move to England.

Strong, fast and a great finisher, Djbril Cisse is looking to re-establish his early promise with a solid stint back in French football.
