NICHOLAS ANELKA
BOLTON

So good it’s scary but it appears that his international career has stalled due to what he perceives as slights by former coach Jacques Santini.

Born and raised in Paris, he showed himself a talented player with tremendous potential with hometown side Paris St-Germain. His career began to take off with London side, Arsenal helping the Gunners win the domestic double in 1998. After a season in which he voiced discontent with life in London, he moved to Real Madrid for a brief stop, picking up a Champions League medal with a couple of big goals, and back home with PSG.

Still a very young player he has just over 20 caps for France but he showed his ability to get it done on the international level. Now, it's just a matter of when he'll be back for Les Bleus.
