An atheletic shot stopper with the potential to become a top goal keeper in Europe, Cameroon's Carlos Kameni has locked down the GK spot at Barcelona's other club, Espanyol.

Kameni came into international consciousness with an astounding performance as a 16 year old at the 2000 Olympic Games, helping Cameroon capture the Gold medal.

Kameni spent three years with French 2nd division side Le Havre but rarely so much playing time. Loans to St. Etienne did little to produce first team football either though he impressed during his time at Wolverhampton in England.

Eventually Espanyol came calling and now the young goalkeeper is getting the first team football that will help him gain the expereince to match the early promise he's shown.
