MAHAMADOU DIARRA

Having helped Lyon win 5 straight French championships, Mahamadou Diarra earned a big money move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2006.

Mahamadou began his European career with Vitesse in Holland and drew interest from other clubs around Europe. He put his skills on full display in front of the home crowds during Mali's run to the semifinals of the African Cup of Nations in 2004.

At one of France's biggest clubs, Diarra's career is reached greater heights as he helped them success in the Champions League and dominate French football.

Now MAdrid has come calling and a new challenge awaits this up and coming player.
