SHOLA AMEOBI
NEWCASTLE
Born in Nigeria but raised in England, Shola Ameobi has come up through the Newcastle youth ranks to become a dependable attacking option for the Tynesiders in the limited playing time he's received.
A member of England's U-21 side he was promoted Newcastle's first team in 2000 and featured primarily in a back up role to the likes of Alan Shearer and Craig Bellamy and Loumana Lua Lua but played well when given the chance.
Deceptive on the ball he has skill with Shearer and Bellamy and others all gone, he has the chance to show his worth
