MIKEL JOHN OBI

A protracted and odd bidding war between Manchester United and Chelsea ultimately see the latter win out for the services of rising Nigerian star who helped lead his team to the U-17 final in 2005. The midfielder has since helped Chelsea to a title and made appearances for Nigeria's Super Eagles. A hardworking and talented midfielder is being groomed to take over for Claude Makalele and as he matures will continue to justify Chelsea's pursuit.
