SULLEY ALI MUNTARI PORTSMOUTH
Steadily making a name for himself, Ghanian International Sulley Ali Muntari was transferred to Portsmouth after becoming a solid part of a Udinese's midfield.
Muntari started his career in Ghana with Liberty Professionals where his play garnered attention from clubs such as Manchester United. However, he ended up in Italy with Udinese in 2001 and at 18 made his debut against AC Milan.
His play as a defensive midfielder have helped Udinese climb the Serie A charts and led to a Champions League appearance. A major component of Ghana's midfield, he helped the Black Stars gain the World Cup for the first time.
Still relatively young, he should be on the international scene for awhile.
