BISAN ETMAE MAYER LAUREN

An unfortunate long term injury saw the former Cameroon international Bisan Etame Mayer Lauren fall down the pecking order at Arsenal and he moved to Portsmouth in early 2007.

A midfielder by trade, he has claimed the right back slot on Arsenal's back line as his own.

Has had stops at Leventre, Utrera and Seville both on their B Side and their A side from where he came to Arsenal in 2000.

Weathered an injury ridden first season to become a key member of Arsenal's lineup while also establishing himself as an indespensible member of the Indominatable Lions. His display at the 2000 African Cup of Nations tournament earned him player of the tournament honors.

Able to both tackle with ferocity and create offense for others, look for Lauren to continue make his presence known in the Premiership for a long time.
