The oft-traveled the Norwegian man-mountain looks to settle came to Aston Villa in 2007 after a sting with Olympique Lyon.

The 6'5" son of a Gambian father and Norwegian mother made his name with Norwegian side Rosenborg, scoring 5 goals during their Champions League campaign. This was followed with a move to Spanish side Valencia where he duplicated his 5 goals during the 02-03 season. However his domestic campaigns did not produce many goals and he left for one season stints with AS Roma and Besiktas.

Carew has represented Norway internationally but will look to solidify his place with Villa.
