CELESTINE BABAYARO

Skillful defender who was a member of the 1996 Olympic Gold Medal winning side as well as the 2002 World Cup side for Nigeria, Celestine Babayaro joined Newcastle after being relegated to tbe bench at Chelsea. Celestine started his European career with Flemish side Anderlect, with whom he played since he was 16 years old.

Versatile enough to play left back or in the midfield he is also known for his somersaulting celebrations and looks to kick start his English career on Tyneside.
