Red Arrows capture their first league title

LUSAKA, Nov 22 (Reuters/Yahoo) - Red Arrows won their first Zambian premier league title on Sunday with a 2-1 win over fellow army club Green Buffaloes to give themselves an unassailable lead near the end of the season.

Arrows had to come from behind to beat Green Buffaloes, who remain third after Sam Gondwe scored the decisive goal early in the second half.

The win put Arrows on to 59 points, six ahead of second-placed National Assembly, with one round of the title race remaining. Red Arrows qualify for next year's African Champions League.
