Citing Champions League setback, Esperance names new coach

TUNIS, Aug 9 (Reuters/Yahoo) - Tunisia's Esperance named Khaled Ben Yahia on Tuesday as their new coach after Sunday's 2-1 home defeat by Egypt's Zamalek in the African Champions League.

Ben Yahia, a former Tunisian international, replaces Mourad Mahjoub.

Sunday's defeat continued Esperance's downward slide after years in the elite of African clubs. They are without a win in four group matches and lost to a newly promoted team in the opening game of the new domestic championship season.
