TOGO

Virtually out of nowhere, Togo qualified for the 2006 World Cup, topping a group that included 2002 quarterfinalists Senegal.

Togo has had only moderate success internationally having qualified for the African Cup of Nations on 5 occasions but it has produced players of high quality such as former Olympique Marseille star Frank Fiawoo.

THE CURRENT SQUAD

Continuing in Fiawoo's footsteps are French-based strikers Oulfade Adekanmi and the unquestioned leader of the side, Emmanuel Adebayor.

Bottom line: Togo finally have a World Cup campaign to build upon for the future
